In the 1960â€™s he was heading the new pop art movement by capturing the essence of basic household staples and marketing it to the general public. Andy Warhol is known for his vivacious prints of Campbellâ€™s soup, flowers, and portraits of Marilyn Monroe that scream with color. Now, his screen prints are available for viewing at the Museum of Fine Arts in St. Petersburg. The exhibit which runs through Saturday features 71 of his classic prints, as well as an array of souvenirs featuring his images. Works by other similar artists such as Robert Mapplethorpe and Keith Haring will also be featured. The exhibit costs $12 for adults; however there are discounts for seniors and students with I.D.
