Laugh! It’s Good for You!

In the average day, a child laughs 150 times; the average adult, a mere 5 times. Laughter is known to reduce stress, reduce blood pressure, and strengthen the immune system among many other benefits. Since many adults work in a stressful work environment, many forget to laugh. Laughter yoga combines yoga breathing methods with laughter exercises to provide the health benefits of laughter. Those interested just need to bring water and a blanket, towel, or chair to sit on. There are many groups and locations throughout the Bay area including Largo and Indian Rocks Beach.
