Lutz Area of Tampa

From single-family homes on conservation lots to maintenance-free villas, the Lutz area has something for everyone. Situated in both Hillsborough and Pasco Counties, Lutz began as a once small town that has since grown significantly over the past decade. Large master planned communities have been built and provide residents with golfing and other recreational activities with homes sitting on waterfront properties and natural conservation lots. Downtown Lutz is home to antique and gift shops and is a place where the community gathers throughout the year for annual celebrations, parades, and craft fairs. Many small businesses have been successful in downtown Lutz, with happy customers that are also their very own neighbors. Even with the rural feeling that Lutz subdivisions provide, it is still in a location that is convenient to shopping and dining. Not far from the interstates and with the Veteran’s Expressway accessible throughout many areas of Lutz, it is always easy to get where you have to go whether it be work, the airport, local attractions or to other areas of Tampa Bay.

  1. Lipply,

How are short sales doing down in your area? I’ve been reading a few other Florida-related real estate blogs, and many of the authors are cautiously optimistic. Some have said that close rates on short sales have went up over the last few months? Are you seeing people get great deals out in Lutz?

  2. Lipply,

Are you seeing sales pickup in the gated and private communities in the area? I would be interested in knowing how homes in these areas are moving and how long they are on the market in Lutz.
