Most produce in the United States is picked days before it even makes it to the supermarket, plus it is shipped thousands of miles. Many of our local Farmer’s Markets grow and harvest their own produce or get it locally which makes it the freshest it can be!   1. Farmers Markets are an awesome place to pick op local fruits and produce. It is also great to help support you local small business owners. In Bellingham, WA we have a great farmers market every Saturday Morning. It would be interesting to check out all of the cool stuff that you have in Tampa’s Farmers Market.

  2. The Austin, Texas area has quite a few farmers markets around and more pooping up all the time. Many are seasonal, seeling just one crop such as peaches, but some offer a variety of seasonal produce year ’round.

  3. I love going to Farmers Market’s you are able to get fresh fruits at some great prices. I have been to the one in Ybor a while back they had a very nice selection if I recall.
